Smoky Quartz and Schorl (excellent) Charlie Key

The Charlie Key dealer stock of Erongo Mountain material contained some excellent smoky quartz and schorl combinations and this is a very aesthetic example. One end of the plate features water-clear smoky quartz crystals with fine color, with the large crystal, at 3.8 cm being doubly terminated. The other end has a knob of splendent, blocky, jet-black schorl crystals. The contacts are on the sides of this fine, two-sided rib, as there are more schorls on the bottom of the piece.
