Smoky Quartz and Schorl

Artistic and sculptural, this is a classic piece, and then some, from Erongo. The Smoky Quartz crystal, which is the central spire for the specimen, is about 4.2 cm tall, and it has good luster with a bit of iron oxide on some of the surfaces. There is a very small amount of edgewear, but the condition overall is excellent. The Schorls climb their way up the Smoky, and they range from mm-size all the way up to 1.7 cm in size. The luster is excellent, and a few of the Schorls have the famous trigonal 'Mercedes' termination. An interesting and aesthetic miniature.
