Item Description
Outstanding, yet remarkably simple, combination of two of Erongo's anchor species - Smoky Quartz and Schorl. The elongated, tapered Smoky, looking just like a sapphire in habit, is gemmy and 4.6 cm long. The main termination is excellent. There are a few contact points - one at the lower termination and one along an edge. The six Schorl crystals create a beautiful cluster near the base of the Smoky. The Schorls are lustrous and well-formed, and the largest is 1.6 cm across. The aesthetics are superb - you could not take these individual elements and assemble them any better then they are here. A great miniature.
