Item Description
Typically the "scepter" Quartz specimens from Madagascar are somewhat frosted, but this one has superb luster, with excellent gemminess and sharp faces. The internal color is a mix of purple, smoky and colorless hues. The piece consists of two well-formed "scepter" crystals on a minor piece of matrix. There is a minor abrasion at the termination, but overall, the piece is still very attractive and nearly transparent in areas. A very nice toenail sized specimen from Andilamena.
