Fine smoky color highlights this impressive large elongated terminated limpid smoky quartz crystal from an unknown Minas Gerais locale in the Doce Valley. The few internal veils add character. Prism faces have high variability, with glass-clear to lightly frosted/etched faces noted. Complete all-around the crystal is pristine. Contacts near the base, where other crystals once lay, have no damage, per se. Choice older smoky quartz from the 1970s or 80s.
