Item Description
Typically the Quartz specimens from Madagascar are somewhat frosted, but this one has superb luster, with excellent gemminess and sharp faces. The internal color is a mix of smoky and colorless hues. The piece is nearly a floater, but does have a small contact on the back. The piece is still very attractive and nearly transparent in areas. A very nice large thumbnail / toenail sized specimen from Andilamena.
