Highly lustrous, flattened, stepped-growth, essentially opaque, rich smoky quartz crystals with fantastic and amazingly sculptural intergrown jackstraw style form a striking and rare specimen from this well-known locale. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a bit of periphery wear, mostly on one side. Smokies of this quality and style are very rare from here. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection and from the 1988 find. Every turn presents an entirely different perspective to this artistic piece.
