Item Description

A beautiful specimen that almost reminds me of Mapimi, Mexico. This piece features vitreous / resinous, green spheroids of Smithsonite measuring up to 5 mm with minor associated Hemimorphite and Goethite on gossan matrix. I'm told that this piece was recently collected (spring of 2015). A great representation from the famous mining district at Lavrion!
