Item Description
Smithsonite from Lavrion is not terribly common on the market, and pieces like this are certainly hard to find. I've seen several pieces of blue Smithsonite from this locality, but green is rare in my experience. This specimen consists of botryoidal soft green "balls" of Smithsonite with minor blue-green Aurichalcite and small white Hemimorphite on host rock matrix. A little bit of roughness here and there, but still good quality and attractive for the material from the locality.
