Item Description

Satin luster, pretty light sky-blue translucent smithsonite botryoids have a scattered secondary overgrowth of white smithsonite. The botryoids are richly and aesthetically clustered on the small cabinet matrix. The large botryoid at the bottom is 1.9 cm across. The lower right side of the matrix is covered with glassy tiny hemimorphite blades on this showy combination from this well-known zinc mine. Rich and uncommon material from finds 8-11 years ago. Valued by the former dealer at $750.
