Smithsonite w/ Calcite (uncommon - classic locale)

Smithsonite is very uncommon compared to other well-known species from famed Mina Ojuela and specimens of this style are RARE. Translucent, sparkly, nubby botryoids of olive-green smithsonite are aesthetically clustered atop the gossan matrix and tiny dogtooth calcite crystals surrounding the botryoids are a fine contrasting compliment. Older material from the 1960s or 70s. Very seldom on the market in this style.
