Item Description
Tsumeb has a wide variety of Smithsonite with various chromophores that can create dazzling colors ranging from green to yellow to orange to pink with plenty of other in between. Some of the most enticing and attractive Cobalt-bearing Smithsonite specimens are those from Tsumeb. This piece is filled with dozens of sharp, fine pink Cobaltoan Smithsonites with vitreous luster, good internal gemminess (nearly WATER CLEAR in areas!) and excellent striated modified rhombic crystal form. Good quality and very eye-catching, with very little damge. The largest rhomb measures up to 1.3 cm across. As you all know, Tsumeb minerals are not only highly sought after, but their value seems to increase daily on the market.
