Item Description

A large cabinet piece with sharp crystals and a famous color that is representative for the renowned Tsumeb Mine, on a large display specimen. The attractive silky luster, gemmy-to-translucent interiors, and the curved, rhombic habit all combine to say 'Tsumeb'. And on top of that, they serve to enhance the beautiful and uniform pink color. The crystals average around 1 cm, and as individuals and as tight clusters they fill pockets in and around the cabinet-sized piece (please note, this is exposed and has some damage to the crystals not in pockets: more than just a few crystals in fact - so it has strong color and size, but damage issues do detract from valuation).
