Item Description
A sculptural vug hosts very nicely colored, deep blue, smithsonite. The juicy smithsonite forms as botryoidal (rounded) aggregates, and here has an extremely good luster! I like that it is in its natural pocket cavity, in this case, and not trimmed out further. It displays very well without aid. Ex Harold Urich Collection # 251. Classic and fine Kelly smithsonite.
