Translucent, nubby, bubbly, honey-yellow smithsonite masses cover the massive, vuggy smithsonite matrix with some galena on this showy and uncommon specimen from this obscure Tunisia locale. The yellow color is probably caused by cadmium. This piece reminds me of classic "turkey fat" smithsonite from Rush, Arkansas. Pristine, except for trivial periphery wear.
