Item Description
A striking and beautiful, large, two-sided and two-colored smithsonite from the closed El Refugio Mine. Juicy, waxy, vivid pink bubbly botryoids cover one side. The botryoids on the other side are a very pretty lavender. Choice and excellent older material from the 1960s or 1970s. Now rarely available on the market, these historic and beautiful smithsonites are a thing of the past. Many of us consider them much more beautiful than botryoidal smithsonite from nearly all other localities. This particular color and style are unique from this mine, and seldom seen! Valued $1200-1500
