A unique, golden-brown, stalactitic Smithsonite specimen from Tsumeb. This is certainly one of the most interesting and unusual Smithsonite specimens that I have seen from this world-famous locality. Smithsonite from Tsumeb is one of the most classic species from what is arguably the greatest locality in the history of minerals. The overall aesthetics of the piece along with the fact that it is completely hollow all the way through make it a very cool and worthwhile piece to add to a Smithsonite suite, a Tsumeb collection or just an "oddities" collection.
