Smithsonite stalactite (Belsky Coll.)

Item Description

A very nifty and classic smithsonite specimen from the Howard Belsky Collection. Light brown to colorless, lustrous and translucent, flattened smithsonite rhombs form the striking stalactite and mounded base with a sulfide core. The stalactite is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a gently cleaved rhomb and trivial bruising at the tip. Fine and very showy material from this renowned and closed locale.
