Item Description

A showy and excellent smithsonite specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Lustrous, translucent, colorless, flattend smithsonite rhombs COVER the vuggy, 3-dimensional matrix. Crystals reach 2.0 cm on this fine piece. The back is just as richly covered, but has some contacting. Ex Rob Smith Collection.
