Item Description
A highly unusual specimen of fun Descloizite, with a burnt-orange layer of minutely crystallized orange descloizite perched atop a layer of botryoidal calcite. The underlying gray-white calcite seems coated with a thin layer of ghostly white hydrozincite, as well. An old piece from the Mexican suite of the Stoudt collection.
