Item Description

The shimmering waxy luster of the intergrown translucent, prettt multi-hued olive-green smithsonite botryoids plus the striking tortoise shell shape of the tabular mounded two-sided piece form a striking specimen from a New Find in China. The banded green and gray smithsonite grew around the matrix core that includes sulfides. The noted basal periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy and scultpural example from an obsure locality in Yunnan Province.
