Smithsonite (New Find)

Item Description

Juicy, translucent, yellow-green, bubbly smithsonite botryoids with waxy luster covers this excellent two-sided rib from a New Find from an obscure locality in Yunnan Province. The banded smithsonite is gray in the interior and surrounds the matrix core. Gentle bruising noted on both sides is certainly only a modest detraction to this showy and colorful piece from a New Find.
