Translucent, pretty sky-blue smithsonite botryoids with accenting white smithsonite overgrowths and glassy tiny hemimorphite blades highlighted by the 2.0 cm "ball" richly and aestheticaly cover the matrix on this aesthetic combination from this well-known zinc mine. Excellent and uncommon material from finds 3-6 years ago. The back is well-prepared with one side having been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality, as the piece has two fine display views. The noted periphery wear on one corner is certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy combination. Valued by the former dealer at $750.
