Item Description

An adorable Tsumeb smithsonite miniature. Super, water-clear, colorless scalenohedron spikes, to about 1.2 cm, very richly and artistically cover the matrix hedgehog-style. The few broken crystals noted, have very minimal impact to the excellent quality of this cutie. It displays beautifully without aid. Very choice Tsumeb smithsonite in this varietal from the Bob Trimingham Collection and from the Scott Williams Collection. Probably from the 1960s or 70s, or earlier.
