Item Description
A showy and excellent smithsonite thumbnail from the best find of the species from the famous Mina Ojuela, probably in the Palomas Oriente section of the mine. Lustrous, translucent, white, "wet-look", stepped-growth, rhombohedrons form a beautiful, mammilary crystal cluster on the contrasting gossan matrix. This looks like fine Kelly MIne smithsonite with a different color and matrix! Exceptionally fine and uncommon older material from the Marty Lewadny Collection.. valued $200
