Item Description
A very hard to find specimen of Smithsonite from the lesser known Enterprise Mine in New Mexico. This mine is not terribly far from the well known Kelly Mine, which has produced some of the finest Smithsonite specimens in the world, and while the Enterprise specimens are not nearly as beautiful, they are certainly desirable for collectors. Small white rice grain-esque Smithsonites sit upon matrix on this attractive small cabinet display piece. If you collect secondary ore minerals, worldwide Smithsonites or even minerals of New Mexico, don't miss out on this rare locality specimen. From the collection of Dorothy Atlee.
