Item Description
Smithsonite from Tsumeb is found in virtually every color of the rainbow, and it remains on the most prolific species from this most significant locality. This specimen displays a gorgeous two-tone appearance, one being an intense lime-green (with a hint of blue) and the other being a darker rich green (with a silvery overtone). A few contacts are the only thing keeping this from being a rather expensive rock, because the color is as intense as I have seen for this variety of Smithsonite, and to find a specimen this size is not an easy task. Valued at $2,000 in the inventory.
