Item Description
Attractive, rich green, semi-velvety, radial groups of Smithsonite on matrix, creating an eye-catching overall specimen. It's a wonderful color due to the copper content, as opposed to many of the less desirable darker and "dingy" green Smithsonites from this locality. If you're an Arizona collector, or a Smithsonite collector, don't pass this one up, as it is a worthwhile Smithsonite for what it is. Excellent condition on the front and back of the piece, and the only damage is on a couple periphery edges where it was removed from the pocket wall. Mined in the 1990s. Valued at $1,100 retail in the inventory.
