Tsumeb is renowned as the greatest mineral locality in the world, producing the finest examples of many common and rare mineral species. The Smithsonites from this world famous mine have been found in a wide variety of colors and forms. This attractive small cabinet features a pair of "finger"-shaped spires of covered with dozens of sparkling, silvery colored Smithsonite crystals along with countless more on the underlying matrix. There are some contacts on the piece, so it's not 100% pristine, but it's still a very aesthetic representation of these beloved specimens from this immensely important locality.
