Item Description
Smithsonite from Tsumeb is found in virtually every color of the rainbow, and it remains one the most prolific species from this most significant locality. Fans of Tsumeb minerals recognize that the Smithsonites from this world-famous mine are the most diverse in terms of habits, styles and colors. This attractive display specimen features dozens rhombic crystals of a gorgeous smoky-golden color. Very few of these specimens are available on the market, and they are some of the most desirable minerals from Tsumeb. The largest crystal measures about 4 mm across. The piece is in superb condition, with no major damage that I can see with the naked eye, and it displays beautifully as you can see from the photos. Priced in the inventory at $1,200.
