Item Description
A wonderfully showy and fine quality Smithsonite from Choix featuring a coverage of vitreous, botryoidal, beautiful soft blue colored groups on matrix. The piece is in excellent condition on the front/display side, and there is only minor peripheral roughness where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. The piece glows when backlit. A wonderful example of these iconic and highly desirable Smithsonites from one of the premier localities for the species in the world. Valued $1,800.
