A lovely Smithsonite from Tsumeb featuring semi-spherical groups of somewhat resinous / velvety, gemmy, groups with a smoky-golden hue when backlit on matrix. The piece is in very good shape and displays nicely as you can see. Tsumeb is considered by many collectors, dealers and mineral experts to be the world's greatest mineral locality for the large number of diverse species found, ranging from common to exceedingly rare, as very often they are the finest examples of their respective species in the world.
