Striking golden-tan, sharp, lustrous, translucent to transparent smithsonite rhombohedrons, to 2.2 cm on the diagonal, are aesthetically clustered on one end of this very showy solid smithsonite miniature from famed Tsumeb. The large rhombs on the end are doubly terminated and pristine. Smithsonite is one of the most prolific species from Tsumeb and has produced an amazing diversity of crystal habits and styles in a striking rainbow of colors.
