Item Description

Beautiful, juicy, translucent, greenish-blue, bubbly smithsonite botryoids with waxy luster cover matrix on this very colorful and excellent example from this extinct locale, that was documented in a 2011 Mineralogical Record Special Issue. The rind is 6 mm -1.0 cm thick. Blue is a very desirable color for the locale. Old - 1960s or 1970s vintage. Classic material.
