Smithsonite (classic locale)

Item Description

An impressive large arched solid mass of juicy, gray, translucent, bubbly smithsonite botryoids with waxy luster. This is fine older material, from the 1970s or 80s, from the El Refugio Mine at Choix. Classic material from this mined out locale, that was documented in a 2011 Mineralogical Record Special Issue. This showy large piece has multiple display possibilities.
