Item Description
Smithsonite specimens of this richness, quality and size are uncommon from this extinct mine in this classic and ancient district. This sculptural large, two-sided specimen features three layered vugs with two colors of botryoidal smithsonite. The dramatic large vug in the front is lined with translucent lavender botyroids. The vug on the top has bubbly, gray to tan botryoids. And the vug on the back has smaller gray botryoids. Very showy, highly representative and and excellent smithsonite from Lavrion.
