This highly sculptural large smithsonite looks like nebula photographed by the Hubble telescope! The translucent, bubbly botryoids have waxy luster and two-toned color, gray and grayish-tan, which really adds pizzazz. This fine piece is from the famous and ancient mines at Lavrion and has multiple display possibilities. Pristine, except for two small spots of basal periphery wear, which has little impact on the overall exceptional quality of this uncommon varietal.
