Item Description
Lustrous, gemmy, smithsonite scalenohedrons to 1.7 cm are attractively and richly strewn on the mounded sulfide matrix on this showy miniature from Tsumeb and the Howard Belsky Collection. Most of the crystals are colorless, but a few have a faint pink tint. The crystals are pristine, with bruising at one end noted. Classic and highly representative Tsumeb smithsonite.
