Item Description
Stunning cluster of large rounded balls of crystals of Smithsonite from near the Daye Iron Mine in China. The three curved crystals of Smithsonite combine to make a cluster 1.5 cm across. The crystals themselves are GEMMY, and have a superb, glassy luster. Combine that with their bright yellow color and they visually jump off the contrasting matrix, to such aesthetic effect. On first glance, I almost thought I was looking at a Berg Aukus Smithsonite. This is a wonderful, and so rare, Chinese Smithsonite!
