Classic for Choix, this is a very attractive, botryoidal, and lustrous hot pink Smithsonite. The color ranges from a rich, bubble-gum pink to a nice blush-purple, and the thick crust completely covers the presentation side. The color and quality would indicate that this fine Smithsonite is from the older, 1970's finds at Choix, rather than the more recent finds (late 90s). Quite aesthetic, with form, color, and luster all adding to the quality of this small cabinet specimen from a very old locality we simply do not see much of on the market. They are some of the most colorful smithsonites in teh world! valued $1500-2000
