This is a really unique Santa Eulalia Smithsonite - and probably an old piece at that! As such, it is quite large large with an abundance of Smithsonite. Specimens such as this are very hard to find for the locality. It is a rich wheat color, with a pearly, almost iridescent luster (in fact, what looks like a white coating on these Smithsonites are reflections because of the crazy luster!). The Smithsonite botryoids easily reach over 1 cm in size, and the overall piece is attractive and impressive. Unusual material, we ar enot sure when it came out but certainly do not see often on the market. Valued $1000
