Item Description
A gorgeous little thumbnail specimen of Smithsonite from the classic locality at Broken Hill. The piece features nearly colorless scalenohedra of Smithsonite up to 1.2 cm on a stalactitic matrix. No damage to speak of, and really showy! This piece came to us from the collection of Jim Robison, but I don't know the previous owner as the label inside the Perky box is not Jim's. Classic material, and not often seen in such well-formed and sharp scalenohedrons.
