Juicy, bubbly, botryoidal, tranlucent, lavender and light gray smithsonite envelopes both sides of this sculptural, curved, bright and classic specimen from the El Refugio Mine at Choix, Mexico. Old - 1960s or 1970s vintage. Excellent and classic material from this essentially mined out locale, that was documented in a 2011 Mineralogical Record Special Issue. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
