Two generations of smithsonite are featured on this showy, rich and uncommon example from the famous mines at Touissit, renowned for superb anglesite, azurite and wulfenite specimens, among others. The first generation scintillating, tiny, gemmy, color-zoned greenish-gray rhombs lines the vug. Beautiful, glassy, aggregates of second generation mint-green, cuprian smithsonite rhombs are attractively scattered about. A fine locality example with interesting color contrast.
