Item Description
A big, impressive showy and colorful Smithsonite from Choix featuring a coverage of vitreous, botryoidal, beautiful green-blue to silvery-lavender colored groups on matrix. Minimal peripheral roughness can be seen, but the piece is largely in great condition. The green-blue section the piece glows when backlit. A wonderful example of these iconic and highly desirable Smithsonites from one of the premier localities for the species in the world. Specimen weight is 1,673 grams (roughly 3 pounds, 11 ounces). Valued $3,000.
