Item Description

A sharp, large, single thumbnail-sized crystal of Smithsonite on just the right amount of matrix from this classic locality for the species. It's a wonderful, large, single scalenohedral crystal of Smithsonite with a rich, translucent amber color and great luster. There are three other companion crystals growing around or into it. In perfect condition with only a little internal crazing near the top. When backlit or toplit, it just glows! Superb thumbnail specimen for this style of crystal for the species!
