Item Description
Smithsonite from Lavrion is not terribly common on the market, and pieces like this are certainly hard to find. I've seen several pieces of blue Smithsonite from this locality, but large cabinets like this are not easy to fine. A layer of flowing, sky-blue, botryoidal Smithsonite coats the host rock matrix. Just a bit of roughness, but excellent condition overall. Great color and a cool formation from this historic locality. The piece weighs 1,313 grams! Valued at $1200. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size and weight of this piece, there will be an additional shipping charge.
