Item Description
A Canadian rarity, a rich slabbed and polished ore specimen of a bifurcating vein of lustrous, rose-gold, nickeline (nickel arsenide) from the famous Cobalt District of Canada. Interesting chemistry here, as the nickeline suddenly stops in the veins and the veins continue as quartz? The matrix appears to be a gabbro. Both the polished and unpolished sides of the slab are shown. 270 grams
