Item Description
Here we have a very attractive thumbnail sized group of sharp, lustrous, very well-formed, modified octahedral / cubic crystals with a bright silvery-white coloration measuring up to 1.6 cm, free of matrix. These specimen are some of the best example of Skutterudite in the world in terms of crystal quality, color and size. Very minor imperfections can be seen on the front / display side, but overall it presents very well and would make a great addition to a thumbnail collection or a rare mineral suite. Originally from the collection of Marcus Origlieri.
