Item Description

A striking and very rare style quartz specimen from the famous mines at Charcas. This dramatic floater cluster of intergrown, water-clear quartz crystals looks like Herkimer quartz "diamonds" from New York. The crystals have well-developed skeletal features and interesting clay inclusions, which really add character. BUT the highlight is the 2 mm movable bubble, that has about 1.3 cm of movement! Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of bruising. Rare quartz from Charcas. Ex David Stoudt Collection # 357 and valued at $400.
